LG G3 With Amazing Display And Specs

LG G3 was one of the world’s first global smartphone with a display QUAD HD. And yes it is powered with all amazing hardware and specifications. Moreover, its design can attract you in one go.

Externally LG G3 already looks much more stylish and elegant than rustic LG G2 with its similar design from Samsung.

There are less than the frame around the display, and the bottom insert ends and the back cover are made of plastic with a metal artful design. Originally indeed it seems that here the metal case, while this plastic.

The rear part looks very impressive – a metal cover (plastic with embedded into the surface of metallized texture) – well, attention is drawn to the new design of the famous “button G” and two volume keys.

At first it seems that the cover will be quickly scratched, especially since there is no metal. However, practice shows that the surface there is a fairly stable. At the bottom end: port microUSB, output under the headset and microphone.

Rear cover – removable, located underneath the battery compartment, SIM card slot and the memory card.  SIM card and memory card slots are located one above the other – to save space. Similarly, done in Samsung Galaxy S5.

Assembly and materials left a very good impression: the smartphone looks great. And, despite the fact that the back cover is removable, it fits very tight, never walks, and does not creak.

In size – in my opinion, this is what you need: the display, on the one hand, large enough, but on the other – does not look “shovel”, as, for example, the LG G Flex. Also on the size of the body it is comfortable in the hand.

Display

It uses IPS-matrix (True HD-IPS +) 2560 × 1440 pixels. The density of pixels per inch is 538ppi.

The display is covered with a protective glass Gorilla Glass 3 and efficient oleophobic coating impairing pollution.

In Colors display rich, but very natural and not flashy. Viewing angles seem to be decent, but when you reject a smartphone vertically or horizontally a noticeable drop in brightness that I did not like: for example, the in Samsung Galaxy S5 it is not observed.

Brightness is decent, but the range of comfortable values ??- from 70 to 100. In normal lighting conditions put 70-80%, with the sun – 100%. However, in direct sunlight the display behaved well: it was evident no worse than the display Galaxy S5.

Now, regarding the incredible clarity and so on. Yes, the quality of the display leaves a very good impression: it is very clear, fonts and images look just fine on it. But here is to see if this difference with FullHD – it will have to try very hard. It is the difference really is, but only at very close look.

The increase in resolution has surely affected the battery life directly or indirectly, and we hope in upcoming generations LG G5, LG engineers will manage to overcome it and we would see again a flagship killer.
